TOUR ITINERARY

 

DAY 01 :

 

We picked you up in Jakarta at 5am than we get the car to Ciboleger takes about 3 hours through passes hills, paddy field (Javanese agricultural) arrived at Ciboleger (the gate to Baduy tribe) directly trekking through villages of Baduy such us : Kadu Ketug, Kadu jangkung, Kadu Keter then tracking to Gajeboh villages passes the spectacular bamboo bridge, After lunch we continue for return back than stop over to see view around the village ( to see they make cloth, wooden bag from skin. bracelets ect) Then continuing to Cigula crossing other bamboo bridge to Cicakal we will stop over in Baduy lake than back to Ciboleger - than transfer to south coast of Taman Jaya Village where the road down the coastline ends, is just outside the park boundary. The village features refreshing atmosphere and calming nature. Overnight at lodge/dinner (free program)

 

DAY 02 :

 

Morning jungle tour - enjoy a quick hike across the lush rainforest of Ujung Kulon in this four - six hour morning tour for nature lovers! bring you into the lowland rainforest of Honje mountain, Here you can observe a multitude of Ujung Kulon jungel, including exotic flora and fauna species to explore a "jungle trail," you can find specific guided treks in the wild for tracking the common Rhino in its natural habitat. During this jungle trekking tour you will go really deep into the jungle, crossing different kind of jungle paths from dense high to lowland raifores on an adventurous jungle trek and forest hike through the territory of Rhino, are also found the Java gibbon, java leopard, java bulls, hornbills occasionally sighted in this region. - Get in touch with the nature and explore Ujung Kulon’s biological treasures and its lush rainforest, back to lodge/overnight/dinner (free program)

 

DAY 03 :

 

Early moring at 6am than continue for cruising to a group of mangrove island (Handeleum) offers a peaceful journey through dense, winding water channels teeming with unique coastal wildlife. Spots feature traditional wooden boats gliding past tangled root systems A green, beautiful group of mangrove islands features lush, salt-tolerant trees rising from shallow turquoise waters. Their tangled root systems trap sediment to build new land, creating serene, emerald labyrinths that shelter fish, birds, and marine life along tropical coasts. Mangrove islands provide the ultimate home for the saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus). These tidal, brackish labyrinths offer dense root systems, murky channels, and abundant prey, allowing the world's largest living reptile to thrive as an apex predatorover, back to lodge/check out than  continue to Ciawi - trekking is a unique combination of jungle and paddy field, taking you through the hidden beauty of Ujung Kulon peninsula, you will hike more off the beaten tracks, crossing different kind of jungle paths. Walk through lush jungle trails and river to discover Leopard, Gibbon, Java eagle’s most scenic rainforest, enjoy a quick hike discover the hidden treasures of Ujung Kulon's Rainforest. Experience one of the most ancient rainforests on this with a couple hours round-trip trekking. Get in touch with the nature and explore Ujung Kulon’s biological treasures and its lush rainforest. This leisurely hike into the high to  lowland rainforest lets you explore a variety of tropical flora and fauna under the vast canopy, back than transfer to Jakarta.

WHAT TO BRING?

 If you do jungle trekking you don’t really need special clothing or equipment but there are a few useful things to bring (especially during our overnight treks) :

    Light T-shirt, long trousers and long socks for the trek (preferably in dark colors) Long trousers, long sleeved shirts or T-shirt with sweater for the evening and night time in the jungle,

Comfortable walking shoes suitable for trekking + flip flops or sandals for the camp

      sunscreen, hat, sunglasses,  mosquito repellent, toilet paper and garbage bag,swimwear, towel, dry bag for dirty/wet clothes

    flip flops for the campsite,   torchlight, binoculars ( optional ), camera equipment and battery pack,  personal items ( hygiene products, medicine) ; personal medical kit and recommended medicine like anti diarrhea medicine, dehydration salt, aspirin and antibiotic
